Velox Rim Tape Description:

The Velox Rim Tape is designed to prevent the spokes, nipples, or sharp edges on the inside of the rim from puncturing a tube. This tape is constructed out of flexible and tightly woven cloth that will easily conform to any rim shape. Each rim tape is backed with an adhesive that will prevent the tape from moving once it is pressed into the rim, while also allowing the tape to be cleanly and easily removed when it is time to service the wheels. Each roll will be long enough to fit one 700c or 29″ rim, can be easily cut to fit smaller wheels, and will come pre-punched with a hole big enough to fit a presta style valve. Last but not least, there are multiple widths available to fit a wide variety of bicycle rims.

Notes: If the tube and rim have a hole for a Schrader valve, hole in tape will need to be enlarged to make it easier to push valve through the tape. This tape is designed specifically for clincher style tires with tubes and this tape will not hold air if used in a tubeless tire and rim without a tube.
