Shimano STEPS SW-E7000 Assist Switch Units Description:

The Shimano STEPS SW-E7000 Assist Switch Units are compact handlebar switches for controlling the power assist and shifting functions on Shimano STEPS e-bike drive systems. Each switch features two large and tactile buttons that are easy to activate and will provide clear feedback that a power or gearing change has been made. The low profile handlebar clamp will fit easily with most brake levers, and multiple SD50 style connector wire lengths are available to ensure the switches can be wired to the STEPS e-bike drive system and gears. And to ensure those wires are not exposed and hanging freely, multiple rubber wire holders are included with each switch to tightly and cleanly run the wire along the length of the handlebar without having to use electrical tape or zip ties.

Features:

• Compact switches take up very little space on handlebar and feature two large buttons with definitive clicks to let you know you have made a selection
• A small third button changes the STEPS cycle computer display (not included) or switches the system between automatic and manual shift modes
• Left side switch units are for controlling the power assist levels on Shimano STEPS e-bike drive systems, and can be used to activate walk assist modes (motor assist when pushing bike)
• Right side switch units are intended to be used to control the Di2 shifting on Shimano STEPS e-bike drive systems, and the shifting controls can be customized using Shimano’s E-Tube Project software
• Both sides are available with different length SD50 style connector wires to ensure there is a version that will fit even the widest handlebars
• Includes multiple rubber wire holders to hold the wires tightly against the handlebars to protect them and also provide a clean appearance to a bicycles cockpit
