The Rotor BB1 Road Threaded 24mm Steel BB is the most basic central movement Rotor makes. It is designed to work with BSA, aka English-threaded, and ITA, aka Italian-threaded bottom brackets.

The design starts with two 7075-T6 machined-aluminum cups into which sealed ball bearing races are pressed. Sealed bearings are low friction and low maintenance.

The inner diameter of the bearings is 24mm, which means this bottom bracket is compatible with Rotors 3D24 road model. It is also compatible with Shimano road cranks as well as FSAs MegaExo cranks.

The cups have machined splines that are designed to work with most conventional external bottom bracket tools. The cups also come with a sleeve that seals the bottom bracket internals from moisture seeping down through the frame. The weight is 96g for the kit.
