KMC Missing Link DLC 12 Chain Link Description:

The KMC Missing Link DLC 12 Chain Link makes installing chains much easier. These chain links feature a simple two piece interlocking design that will quickly line up and pop into place. As for the black coating, this very hard titanium-carbon-nitrade DLC coating dramatically cuts down on the chances of the missing link rusting, and it also has less friction to reduce binding around this link for a smoother operating chain. KMC chain links are compatible with 12 speed KMC, Shimano, and SRAM chains, making them a great upgrade to make it easier to install and to remove the chain. Additionally, these missing links are small enough that they fit easily into on-bike storage in case the need for any emergency trailside/roadside repairs occur.

Note: Manufacturer strongly recommends using a set of chain master link pliers to install and remove this missing link.
