The Specialized Roval Control SL VI Wheels with Industry Nine Solix Hubs are built for riders looking for an ultra-lightweight set of wheels for their XC Racing and/or Down-country mountain bikes that can actually be ridden all season and not just on race day. At the heart of these trick hoops are a set of Industry Nine Solix hubs that not only are beautiful, they have widely spaced hub flanges, high quality sealed bearings, and a ridiculously low 0.59 of instantaneous engagement (due to a rugged hardened tool steel 5-pawl and 121 tooth drive ring design) which creates a rock solid and ultra-high performance base to build out the rest of the wheel from.

Heading out of the hub flanges are strong and stiff carbon/titanium spokes that are noticeably lighter than stainless steel or 100% titanium spokes for a significant reduction of rotational weight, resulting in wheels that rapidly accelerate up to speed. At the other end of those spokes are wide asymmetric carbon fiber rims that optimize the spoke tension and spoke angles so the wheels will last longer and have a smoother ride; in addition the rims are tubeless ready and feature a FlatStop hookless inner sidewall design that will provide excellent tire support and boost flat prevention especially when tackling rough terrain. Add everything together and the result is a fully integrated wheel system with the goods to elevate a riders capabilities and confidence higher than ever before.
